BLACK CUMIN (NIGELLA SATIVA)

Black cumin is warm and dry. For consumption by humans it is not recommended, because this would lead to pain; for animals, however, black cumin is not harmful. 

Lard mixed with crushed black cumin makes an excellent ointment against ulcers on the head (any ulcers except those caused by scabies). 

As a fly deterrent, black cumin is dissolved in honey - it kills the flies.

RYE (SECALE CEREALE) Rye is warm , a little  colder than wheat . The bread baked from it is strong and healthy , in fat people it causes WEIGHT LOSS , while at the same time strengthening their health.  However, it is not advisable for those who suffer from  stomach complaints.
