CINNAMON (CINNAMOMUM CASSIA) Chinese cinnamon (Cinnamomum cassia) The tree (the bark of which is cinnamon) has much heat . Cinnamon is very  hot and has tremendous strength. It possesses a certain amount of moisture along with the heat - the former, however, is more pronounced.  Frequently eating cinnamon reduces the bad juices [in the body] and promotes the good ones.
