HOME REMEDIES: BLACK PEPPER
St Hildegard writes:
"When God created man, a different type of earth was used to form him. Henceforth, all substances were subject to man, because they sensed that in him was life, and they endeavoured to aid him in him in all his efforts, and man's aim, in turn, was to help them."
BLACK PEPPER (PIPER NIGRUM)
Black pepper is warm and dry. Excessive consumption of black pepper damages the human [organism]. It causes pleurisy and transforms the good body fluids into bad ones.
If someone has spleen problems and LACK OF APPETITE (to such an extent that he considers all types of food repulsive), he is advised to season the foods with pepper or to add pepper to the bread dough [before baking it] and his appetite will return.
