LIQUORICE [LICORICE] (GLYCYRRHIZA GLABRA) Liquorice is moderately warm . It brings about a clear voice and makes the mind pleasant, too. Liquorice clears the eyes. SANICLE (SANICULA EUROPAEA) Sanicle or wood sanicle ( Sanicula europaea ). Sanicle is warm , its  sap is sweet and healthy . It is particularly recommended to  strengthen a  WEAK STOMACH and WEAK INTESTINES .  In summer you pull the green parts along with the root from the earth,  boil everything in water, and add honey and some  liquorice to the brew. The potion honey root  is prepared in this way.
