HOME REMEDIES: SANICLE
St Hildegard writes:
"When God created man, a different type of earth was used to form him. Henceforth, all substances were subject to man, because they sensed that in him was life, and they endeavoured to aid him in him in all his efforts, and man's aim, in turn, was to help them."
SANICLE (SANICULA EUROPAEA)
Sanicle or wood sanicle (Sanicula europaea). Sanicle is warm, its sap is sweet and healthy. It is particularly recommended to strengthen a WEAK STOMACH and WEAK INTESTINES.
In summer you pull the green parts along with the root from the earth, boil everything in water, and add honey and some liquorice to the brew. The potion honey root is prepared in this way.
Sanicle is also dried in the sun, whereby it loses nothing of its strength, and powdered without residue and stored for the winter, so that it can then be treated with honey and liquorice as before.
Against WOUNDS THAT HAVE BEEN INFLICTED WITH IRON TOOLS, [cuts, stab wounds, etc.] drink the squeezed juice in summer, and the powder in water in winter, in order for the wound to be cleaned from the inside.
