HOME REMEDIES: ENGLISH LAVENDER

St Hildegard writes:

"When God created man, a different type of earth was used to form him. Henceforth, all substances were subject to man, because they sensed that in him was life, and they endeavoured to aid him in him in all his efforts, and man's aim, in turn, was to help them."

ENGLISH LAVENDER (LAVANDULA VERA)

See here for common lavender

English Lavender is warm - and dry, because it possesses but little juice.

It has a very pleasant fragrance; it is not really useful for man, though, apart from the fact that it drives away lice [head lice] and that its fragrance helps to clear the eyes.
